Explanation of Image

These images were from a protest in New York City on Aug. 9th 2005. Hala Faisal, a Syrian
born artist, protested the war in Iraq and the occupation of Palestine by
appearing in the nude with anti-war slogans written in both English and Arabic,
in Washington Square Park. Faisal was arrested by New York City police.
